Getting bad cursor lag on the interface screens. The journal, options
settings, etc. The in-game setting for mouse-sensitivity works fine for
adjusting responsiveness for mouselook, but does nothing for the cursor.

Any ideas? I have seen other people having the problem as well

The suggested fixes there so far either do not work or do not apply to me,
having an ATI card and not an nVidia one.

TIA

Read post #61 of the quoted forum thread.

"Flip Queue Size" - you'll find it in the Direct3d options of Ati Tray
Tools.

I have an X1600XT. When I installed the game it "autodetected" video
settings to "high". Being an AA freak I then manually enabled AA. The game
ran fine and the framerate in the game was acceptable, but the interface
screens and the mouse pointer were very laggy. Went back and turned the AA
back off and now the interface screens and the mouse pointer just fly along.

IIRC Morrowind was similar in that the first sign of your GFx card
struggling was abysmal performance in the menus.
