So the Grandmaster Eno Hlaalu wants a belt, currently being worn by
Hrordris in the Pelagiad Halfway Tavern.

The trouble is - as with several of the Morag Tong writs - you can't
*taunt* the guy into a fight, because you don't get to do the option
to do anything but close the conversation with "Goodbye".
(Interestingly, if you *haven't* talked to Eno Hlaalu about him,
you can speak to him normally as far as I've been able to find out.
Just the same with the early Morag Tong writs, for the guy in the
Elven Nations Cornerclub and the two guys in the Telvanni Compound.
Taunting them into a fight means two things: not getting a bounty on
your head, and witnesses will still talk to you because they don't see
you as a killer. For some reasons, which seem reasonably obvious to
me, they won't talk to you if they've seen you kill someone, even if
you were on Morag Tong business at the time. Nobody likes a killer,
not even a paid one doing his legitimate job.)

It also appears that you do not get the option to pickpocket the
belt.

In other words, if you want the stuff, you've got to actually
*murder* him (and it's murder, because you haven't a writ for his
death.)

Is there another way to solve this? I thought you weren't
supposed to murder without a writ on the Morag Tong's behalf.
(Okay, I could commit the murder and then present the guard with
an old writ - I still have all the ones left over from previous
executions, since nobody bothered reporting them as crimes. But that
seems... wrong, avoiding one murder charge by claiming that a
*different* killing was legal.)

You could have an item enchanted with 100 pts of "frenzy humanoid", then
use it on him, and he will attack you first.
Personally, I don't see this as any different morally than taunting.
As for the morag tong writs, go ahead and kill the guy, the go straight to
the nearest guard/ordinator, and the bottom option he gives you will be
"present writs" or something to that effect. The bounty will be removed,
none of your stolen items will be taken, and everyone will love you again.

Okay, once I can actually *get* an item enchanted with that (I don't
actually know the power of Frenzy Humanoid at the moment, where would
I find it?) I'm also looking for a source of Restore Magicka and/or
Fortify Magicka, as I'd like to enchant an item with a permanent
Restore Magicka effect as I have several Grand Soul Gems with Ascended
Sleepers and Golden Saints: having my mana regenerate without me
having to rest, would be nice.

Also, why is it *so* *damn* *difficult* to get armour and weapons
enchanted? I mean, one of the earliest items I found was an Iron
Vipersword. I try to make a similar item (starting out with a normal
Iron Longsword, which is the base item) with identical charge and
powers, only to discover that "the item can't hold that much
enchantment"... the game won't even try to MAKE the item (and destroy
the soul gem), it simply tells me that it can't be done at all. I
couldn't even enchant a Daedric sword with the same amount, range and
duration of poison damage - it was the duration that was the killer.

True, but it doesn't make the people who witnessed the killing *talk*
to me again, should I want to talk to them. I can't talk to anyone in
the Elven Nations Cornerclub any more, even though I showed my writ to
the guards after executing the very first guy I had a writ for - even
the ones who *didn't* witness the killing won't talk to me.

To make a worthwhile enchanted weapon or armourpiece your Enchant-skill
has to be 100 or very close. You can train your enchant-skill by using
lesser souls to recharge magical items.

Go to a mage's guild or some other enchanter and pay for your
enchantments.

The armor and weapons in the game are pre-generated, and do not follow
the same rules as armor and weapons you make yourself. There are many
items in game that cannot be duplicated, even with the best available
items and souls.

This is true in Daggerfall as well. The explanation that I like best
is that even if your enchant skill is 100, you cannot possibly match
the skill of the Telvanni enchanters who have spent a lifetime
learning the art of enchantment. There are true masters of the art
who can create artifacts which can never be duplicated.

And because of this they have no need of money and sell these
marvellous enchantments for less than the cost of the materials.

Just walk into her room , lock the door behind you, select creep and look at
her items, she will attack you, everybody else will try to attack you, but
the door is locked. Biff said cow on bonce , rob body, warp out of there
