So the Grandmaster Eno Hlaalu wants a belt, currently being worn by
Hrordris in the Pelagiad Halfway Tavern.
The trouble is - as with several of the Morag Tong writs - you can't
*taunt* the guy into a fight, because you don't get to do the option
to do anything but close the conversation with "Goodbye".
(Interestingly, if you *haven't* talked to Eno Hlaalu about him,
you can speak to him normally as far as I've been able to find out.
Just the same with the early Morag Tong writs, for the guy in the
Elven Nations Cornerclub and the two guys in the Telvanni Compound.
Taunting them into a fight means two things: not getting a bounty on
your head, and witnesses will still talk to you because they don't see
you as a killer. For some reasons, which seem reasonably obvious to
me, they won't talk to you if they've seen you kill someone, even if
you were on Morag Tong business at the time. Nobody likes a killer,
not even a paid one doing his legitimate job.)
It also appears that you do not get the option to pickpocket the
belt.
In other words, if you want the stuff, you've got to actually
*murder* him (and it's murder, because you haven't a writ for his
death.)
Is there another way to solve this? I thought you weren't
supposed to murder without a writ on the Morag Tong's behalf.
(Okay, I could commit the murder and then present the guard with
an old writ - I still have all the ones left over from previous
executions, since nobody bothered reporting them as crimes. But that
seems... wrong, avoiding one murder charge by claiming that a
*different* killing was legal.)
